WEDDINGS

When I conduct your wedding you can be assured that I will do everything possible to make your day memorable.  Weddings are very individual so I like to talk in length with my clients in order to provide the perfect ceremony.  It is also possible to have a ceremony within a ceremony.  In order to individualise your wedding you might like to include one of the following: Unity Candle Ceremony, Sand Ceremony, Ring Warming Ceremony, Rose Ceremony.

It is also possible to include aspects of different religions or countries into your wedding ceremony eg: Breaking of the Glass for a Jewish groom.

In Australia you can get married anywhere at anytime so long as you have completed a Notice Of Intended Marriage form and lodged it with your celebrant between 18 months and one month and one day prior to your wedding.

NAME GIVING

Fewer people attend church these days however many parents still wish to continue the time honoured tradition of publicly acknowledging special people to become their children's Godparents.  I can create the perfect ceremony to acknowledge the presence of your child in the world to be celebrated at a place and time convenient to you.

 COMMITMENT CEREMONY

Not every couple wishes to have a formal wedding ceremony, sometimes this is personal desire other times it may be that they have married overseas and wish to have a ceremony of some description for their Australian family and friends or they may be a same sex couple for whom marriage in Australia is not legal.  These ceremonies are conducted in the same way as a wedding but without any of the legal requirements.  On completion of the ceremony the couple cannot (unless married elsewhere) be declared as husband and wife etc.

WEDDING VOW RENEWAL

Quite often when couples have been married for a period of time they wish to reaffirm the vows they have already taken. A vow renewal ceremony allows the ability to do this and is also similar to a wedding ceremony minus the legalities as the couple are already married.

SURPRISE WEDDINGS

Just imagine that you have just told your family and friends of your engagement but you don't want to wait months or years to get married.  Why not invite them all to a party and get married without any of them suspecting that the party they are attending is actually a wedding!  So long as you complete the Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before hand and have two witness' over the age of 18 you can get married anywhere.  As marriage is consentual between two persons you cannot have a surprise wedding where only one party is privvy to what is happening, both of you must sign the Notice of Intended Marriage.
