Before your wedding you will need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage Form, at least one month and one day prior to your wedding day.
This form is to register with me your intention to marry
It can be lodged with me up to 18 months in advance of the Wedding, a booking fee is required at this stage. I have this form for you to complete or you can download the form from:

The balance of your fee is due approximately 2 weeks prior to your wedding date when you will also sign a declaration stating that there is no legal reason as to why you should not be married and also that you are over the age of 18 years.
The documents you need to supply are:
• If born in Australia – you’re Original Birth Certificate
To obtain a copy, contact Births Deaths and Marriages in the state you were born.
• If born abroad – Original Birth Certificate or current Overseas Passport.
• If either of you have been previously married then your Original Divorce Papers (Decree Absolute) or Death Certificate of a previous spouse.
If you need a copy of your divorce papers, contact the Family Law Court in the state you were divorced.
Witnesses:
You are required to have two witnesses who both must be over the age of 18, present to sign the Marriage Register and Certificates. If you have any problems organising these witnesses (if you live out of town and dont know anyone ), please let me know and I can try to organise these for you.

Check with relevant Council for outdoor Weddings with regards to permits, booking dates and fees to ensure you obtain the location of your choice.
