Brisbane Bayside Marriage Celebrant
My Background
I am an experienced public speaker and have been a radio broadcaster.
I currently give pre-concert talks for the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Musica Viva. For many years I was a Professor and Dean of a well-known Australian Conservatorium of Music and I also have secondary and primary teaching experience.
These days apart from being a civil celebrant, I am a freelance writer with the Courier Mail (published as Bramley-Moore) and the Australian as well as the ABC's Limelight Magazine, Artist Profile, Notebook and other lifestyle magazines.
These professional roles give me the skills to conduct your ceremony according to your wishes and invest the speeches with life and interest. I can also assist you in your choice of music if required to do so.
I can either write or assist you to write your vows and speeches with flair. Having managed a Conservatorium with a busy concert program and 4 different degrees, 35 staff and 300 students I am well able to run the administration associated with your special day efficiently.
If there are a few hiccups along the way you can trust me to keep calm and focussed under pressure and problem solve and minimise any tricky scenarios.
People say that I am friendly, pleasant to work with, entertaining to listen to, efficient, a good listener, creative and blessed with a good sense of humour.
I am keen to help you design a wedding ceremony to suit you in a location of your choice and achieve a memorable, happy day for you and your guests.
